Summertime is almost upon us and it’s the time for various styles of t shirts that would grace the season .i received a call from temi a friend in Toronto ,Canada ,he was adamant I must design a collection of t shirts ,why I questioned , he said people will love our fashion illustrations .This seasons theme has been taken from flowers in Africa and called “ le jardin Africain “ I wonder sometimes how I came up with this theme but once I envisioned it ,it stayed with me ,so I started doing some research and found beautiful flowers in different parts of Africa ,interestingly most of the colourful exotic flowers come from South Africa perhaps this is due to the temperate weather .Across the world most flowers bloom In temperate climates.we have Jos in nigeria were some beautiful flowers are also grown especially roses which are so beautiful to behold .hibiscus use to been seen a lot when growing up in the mid 80s, but sadly we don’t see much anymore ,we’ve probably drank most of them since it’s from the hibiscus flower zobo is made ; alarming . Some of the exotic flowers I found inspiring are the African daisy ,impala, yellow Lily ,african lily , woolly sceptre .so we went to the drawing board and started sketching flowers in all forms and variety ,colours and shades .we incorporated fashion sketches and some actually had iconic faces of me ,due to popular demand .The t shirts are available in whites ,creams pinks ,blues and greens in all sizes from small ,medium,large and extra large .prices are 30,000 naira .free delivery within lagos till end of march 2025
